Patchs Place Draft Horse Sanctuary
Patch’s Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit draft horse sanctuary dedicated to providing lifelong care for rescued draft horses with complex medical, physical, and emotional needs. Our horses are not adopted out; instead, they are given a permanent home where they receive individualized veterinary care, proper nutrition, rehabilitation, and the safety and stability they deserve.
Our mission also extends into the community through horse-led equine-assisted coaching and free educational and wellness programs. These programs create opportunities for children, families, veterans, survivors, and other individuals to build confidence, strengthen emotional well-being, and experience meaningful connection through interactions with the horses.
By combining compassionate sanctuary care with community-centered programming, Patch’s Place creates a place where both horses and people can find safety, dignity, connection, and healing.
