It Started with One Small Town

NTX Front Porch started with a simple idea — small towns deserve a place where people can find out what’s happening, discover local businesses, and learn the stories behind the places they call home.

That idea first came to life with The Justin Journal, a local newsletter created to help neighbors stay connected and keep up with everything happening around Justin. What started as a way to share local events and business news quickly became something bigger — a reminder that people still want to know their neighbors, support local businesses, and feel connected to the community around them.

As we watched Justin grow, we realized something: every town has stories worth telling. The new businesses opening their doors. The longtime residents who remember how things used to be. The community events that bring everyone together. The people quietly making a difference every day.

NTX Front Porch was created to bring those stories together and make it easier to discover everything happening across the communities we call home.

Meet the People Behind the Porch
Hi, we’re Amber and Jeremy.

We’re Texas natives who have always appreciated the small-town feel — the places where people wave at each other, local businesses know their customers by name, and neighbors still show up for one another. After watching the North Texas area grow and change, we wanted to create a place that keeps up with that growth while still holding onto the things that make these communities special.

NTX Front Porch is our way of creating a bigger front porch — a place to discover what’s happening, celebrate local stories, and connect the communities that make North Texas such a great place to call home. And this is just the beginning. As our communities continue to grow, we hope NTX Front Porch grows right along with them — adding more towns, more stories, and more ways for neighbors to stay connected.
